Objective
The investment objective is long-term long exposure, reduced volatility, and enhanced returns compared to the CCi30 Index, coupled with a passive income element- staking. A dynamic portion of the portfolio is actively managed with the objective to generate alpha against the benchmark. The benchmark is the CCi30, which is a rules-based index designed to objectively measure the overall growth, daily and long-term movement of the blockchain sector. It does so by tracking the 30 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, excluding stablecoins.
Strategy
To attain its stated objective, FiCAS employs a discretionary investment approach, abstaining from leverage utilization and exclusively engaging in long positions. FiCAS selects and manages investments in Cryptocurrency Assets based on a series of key indicators and parameters including:
- Macro Crypto and Blockchain Industry Outlooks
- Future Trends of the Industry
- On-Chain and Technical Analysis
- Macro Financial Analysis
- Quantitative Analysis
- Protocol Economics or Tokenomis
Part of the strategy also includes staking, which is used to securely deposit a portion of the digital assets and generate additional staking rewards for the product. Investors thus benefit from an additional attractive source of profit.
